Board Member And Representative to the Government
Dr. Pierre Khoury is a Board Member of the Lebanese Economic Association and its appointed representative to the Lebanese Government. He is Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at the American University of Technology (AUT) and Doctoral Professor in Finance at Beirut Arab University, following previous appointments as Vice President, Dean, Chair, and lecturing professor at universities in Lebanon and abroad.
He is the author of four books on the knowledge economy and education management, published in the United States, Germany, and Beirut, and of some forty scientific papers in internationally refereed journals spanning business, economics, and education. He serves as a board member and reader for several international refereed journals, sits on doctoral juries at universities across Lebanon, and acts as an occasional research supervisor for Heilbronn University in Germany.
Dr. Khoury specialized in policy analysis and policymaking at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C., and has worked with several Arab monetary authorities. His combination of academic leadership and hands-on policy experience anchors the Association’s work at the intersection of research, higher education, and economic governance.
