Board Secretary
Nicolas Chikhani is Board Secretary of the Lebanese Economic Association, bringing to it three decades of experience in international banking and executive leadership. He was most recently CEO of Arab Bank Switzerland, after four years as global CFO/COO of Audi Private Bank covering Switzerland, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, he held senior finance roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including CFO of Consumer Banking for the Middle East and CFO of Consumer Banking Risk across 46 countries, based in Singapore, and served as a board member of Standard Chartered Lebanon. In 2001 he founded Ptolmix, a CRM e-marketing software consultancy, where he led a €2 million venture capital raise. His earlier career includes Credit Lyonnais Bank and the US State Department.
He holds an engineering degree in computer science and higher executive degrees in management and finance from INSEAD and Harvard Business School, a specialization in cryptocurrency from the London School of Economics, a certificate in board governance from IMD, and certification as an Anti-Corruption Manager (AACI, USA). He currently holds board roles in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Lebanon.
